Loryth Improvement Tasks¶
This document contains a prioritized checklist of improvement tasks for the Loryth project. Each task is marked with a checkbox that can be checked off when completed.
Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)¶
The following ADRs should be created to document key architectural decisions:
-
Event-Driven Architecture Implementation
Document the decision to use event-driven architecture patterns for inter-service communication, including the messaging system design, batch publishing, and retry mechanisms. -
Service Boundary Definition
Record the decisions around service boundaries for the placeholder services (budget, cms, issues, journal) and their interaction patterns. -
Authentication and Authorization Strategy
Document the comprehensive authentication mechanisms, token management, and role-based access control implementation approach. -
Data Persistence Strategy
Capture decisions about database optimization, caching strategy, connection pooling, and audit logging implementation. -
Testing Strategy
Document the multi-layer testing approach including integration tests, end-to-end tests, contract tests, and performance benchmarks.
